Talisker Resources (TSX: TSK | OTCQX: TSKFF) is transitioning its flagship fully permitted Bralorne gold project in southern British Columbia into underground production at the Mustang mine. Test production and trucking has now started, with the first batch of gold mineralization hauled for processing mid-May.
With offsite processing and targeting closer-to-surface underground mineralization, Talisker’s focus is on delivering high-margin gold, at a time when gold prices are at near-record levels.
The company has signed a definitive Ore Purchase Agreement with New Gold (Mar 2024) - as part of this Agreement, New Gold will purchase up to 350,000 tonnes of material mined at Bralorne and process it at its mill located at the New Afton mine. In addition, in April 2024, Talisker also signed a milling agreement with Nicola Mining, to process up to 6,300 tonnes of stockpile mined at Bralorne at Nicola’s Craigmont mill in Merritt, BC.
