Maple Gold recently announced a transformational deal with Agnico Eagle. This strategic move consolidates Maple Gold’s position in the Abitibi region and opens up the prospect of sole exploration and development of a district-scale property with an established gold mineral resource at Douay, a high-grade past-producing gold mine complex at Joutel and a fertile and as yet underexplored ~400 km2 land package straddling the Casa Berardi Deformation Zone, with a clear path to advance the projects.
